Kronberg im Taunus, August 8, 2023 - The city of Kronberg im Taunus set its water traffic light to "green" on August 8, 2023. The reason for the change in status is the continued significant decline in water consumption and the rainfall of the past few days.
Since August 3, the water traffic light has been "yellow," and from July 10 to August 2, it was "red." Even when the water light is "green," it is still important to use the resource carefully and economically. The "green" status means that current water needs can be met through our own water production and a moderate supply of external water through the Taunus Water Supply Association.
Important: Due to drinking water contamination, tap water in the Kronberg and Schönberg districts must be boiled until further notice! (See accompanying announcements for details).
