Due to identified microbiological contamination in drinking water, it is currently required in the districts of Königstein , Mammolshain, and Schneidhain to boil drinking water before consumption. Likewise, the water should not be used to prepare infant formula, as a potential health risk cannot be ruled out. The affected water supply systems are currently being flushed and disinfected. These measures are being carried out in cooperation with the Hochtaunus District Health Department.
